1 in 5 Americans have some type of disability. Over 17,000 people in Illinois are on a waiting list for services. Disability does not discriminate.
Advocates for Access has helped many people with disabilities throughout central Illinois gain greater independence and you can help by donating to Advocates for Access.

“Together We Play" is a student group from St. Thomas the Apostle School in Peoria Heights devoted to constructing an accessible park for the Peoria area. The team's research has found that although there are over 10,000 people with disabilities in the Peoria area, there are very few accessible parks and none within the village of Peoria Heights.
Our mission is to raise at least $100,000 to build an accessible park that uses a universal design, allowing children of all abilities to play together.
